First of all, relax! We know trying something new can feel a little intimidating, especially when it comes to colonics. At Auburn Total Health, we want you to feel comfortable, informed, and completely at ease.
We'll start by walking you through the process, answering your questions, and making sure you're comfortable before we begin.
We use the Angel of Water open-system colon hydrotherapy equipment. Unlike a closed system, where a therapist manages the flow of water and waste through tubing, our open system allows you to remain in control of your session.
You'll lie comfortably on a specially designed treatment bed and gently insert a small, single-use nozzle into your rectum, with guidance from your therapist. Warm, filtered water flows into your colon at a gentle, controlled rate. When your body is ready to release, the water and waste flow naturally into a basin beneath you and are carried away through the drainage system. There's no need to get up or rush to the bathroom!
You may experience a feeling of fullness or some mild cramping as your colon responds to the water. Your therapist will be nearby to guide you, answer questions, and make sure you're comfortable throughout the process.
And please, don't be embarrassed! We do this every day, and there are no silly questions. Our goal is to make your first experience as comfortable, private, and stress-free as possible!

Nope!
We've got you covered! At Auburn Total Health, we provide fresh towels, drinking water, and a private sauna space so you can relax and enjoy your session comfortably. We even have a shower available for you to freshen up afterward!
Just show up, stay hydrated, and enjoy a little time for yourself.
We'll take care of the rest!
